On this page, you’ll find all the available courses for the upcoming showcase at Narre Warren Studio. Each course is designed to prepare you for the spotlight, with expert choreography, group collaboration, and the support of our amazing instructors.

Here are some common questions students may have about booking courses for GLOW. If you have additional questions, don’t hesitate to contact your studio team for more information.
GLOW is The Pole Room’s annual student showcase, where participants take the stage and perform a choreographed routine in front of a live audience. It is a celebration of our program and a reflection of the confidence, creativity and community that makes The Pole Room so special.
Whether it is your first time performing or you are returning for another spotlight moment, GLOW is all about growth, expression and celebrating the journey you have taken in our studios.
Yes. Any current member at The Pole Room may join a GLOW performance course, provided there is availability and the course is suitable for your level as outlined in the course description.
Students must hold an active membership at The Pole Room throughout the duration of the course.
Courses are tailored to different skill levels, so whether you are a beginner or more advanced, there will be an option designed for you
Each GLOW course gives you everything you need to prepare for the stage, including:
Weekly rehearsals to learn and refine your choreographed routine
Guidance from your instructor, including technique, routine and performance coaching
Support with costume planning and overall stage preparation
A spot in the GLOW Showcase, where you will perform your routine on stage in front of a supportive audience
Plus capture and share your performance with:
- Professional pictures from DanceFlix
- Professional Video from HoneyDrops
Courses are categorised by skill level, style, and availability. Check the course descriptions for requirements, themes, and rehearsal times to find the one that suits you best.
Ensure you are at the correct level in the course title - i.e. BEG 2+ means you need to be enrolled in a Beginner 2 course or above for that apparatus, while OPEN is for all levels.
Each course runs for eight weeks, with a two hour rehearsal each week.
You must also be available for:
The onstage run-through on show day
Your evening performance
Some students choose to practise outside of rehearsals, though this is optional.
All Bookings take place on events.thepoleroom.com.au under the locations bookings page. Once a course is full it will no longer be available for booking.
Simply browse the available courses on your select studio's Course Bookings Page, select the course that suits you best, and follow the prompts to secure your spot.
Each course runs with a minimum of 5 students and a maximum of 10.
If a course does not reach the minimum number of participants, the studio will:
Offer you a place in another suitable course, or
Provide a refund of any payments made towards GLOW
Yes. GLOW is a public event, and supporters are encouraged to attend.
Ticket pricing and sale dates will be announced closer to the event. Students will be notified as soon as sales open.
Please inform your instructor before enrolling.
You may need medical clearance depending on the nature of your injury.
Participating while injured may not be suitable for all routines.
Course changes depend on availability and suitability for your level.
Speak to your studio team as early as possible if you need to request a change.
The $480 course fee covers your weekly rehearsals, choreography, instructor guidance and performance preparation.
You may secure your place with a $100 non-refundable deposit. Students choosing the $100 deposit option must set up a payment plan or final payment date with the studio, with the full balance due by February 1st.
Additional costs may include your costume and any optional accessories, which your instructor will help you plan.
Hair and makeup for the show is also up to you, depending on how you like to present on stage.

Rehearsals have increased from 90 minutes to 2 hours each week based on student and instructor feedback.
The hourly rate remains the same at $30 per hour.
Attendance is important to keep the routine clean and cohesive for the whole group.
If you need to miss a rehearsal, please let your instructor know as early as possible. You will be responsible for catching up on what you missed, which may require a private training session at your own cost.
Wear comfortable activewear that allows you to move and train safely.
As the routine develops, your instructor will let you know if specific clothing, footwear or rehearsal items are needed to suit the style of the piece.
Costumes are one of the most exciting parts of the GLOW experience. Your instructor will guide you through the theme, style and any specific requirements for your piece.
You will have plenty of time to plan and organise your costume, and instructors aim to keep costume expectations modest and manageable for students.
Yes! If you’d like to perform in multiple routines, you can book more than one course, provided the rehearsal times don’t overlap.
Feeling nervous is completely normal, especially if it’s your first time on stage. You won’t be doing this alone. Your instructor and your course group will support you throughout the entire process, and rehearsals are designed to help you build confidence week by week.
