FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Here are some common questions students may have about booking courses for GLOW. If you have additional questions, don’t hesitate to contact your studio team for more information.

GLOW is The Pole Room’s annual student showcase where students perform choreographed routines on stage in front of an audience. It’s a celebration of our program and built off the back of our amazing community.

Any member currently training at The Pole Room can participate in a performance course. Courses are tailored for different skill levels, so whether you’re a beginner or an advanced student, there’s a course for you!

Each course includes:

  • Weekly rehearsals to learn a choreographed routine.
  • Guidance from a professional instructor.
  • Assistance with costume planning and stage preparation.
  • The opportunity to perform on stage at GLOW 2025.

Courses are categorised by skill level, style, and availability. Check the course descriptions for requirements, themes, and rehearsal times to find the one that suits you best.

Our group performance courses run for 8 weeks with one 90 minute (120 minute for Soloists) rehearsal per week. Additional practice times closer to the event may be required to ensure everyone is stage-ready.

Simply browse the available courses on your select studio's Course Bookings Page, select the course that suits you best, and follow the prompts to secure your spot.

The course fee of $390 covers rehearsals, choreography, and performance preparation. Additional costs may include costumes and optional accessories, which your instructor will guide you on.

Attendance is crucial to ensure the routine looks polished and cohesive. If you miss a rehearsal, inform your instructor as soon as possible to catch up on what you’ve missed with a 1:1 private training session at your own cost.

Wear comfortable activewear that allows you to move freely. Your instructor will inform you about any specific clothing or footwear required as rehearsals progress.

Costumes are an exciting part of the performance! Your instructor will guide you on costume themes and requirements. You’ll have plenty of time to prepare before the showcase.

Yes! If you’d like to perform in multiple routines, you can book more than one course, provided the rehearsal times don’t overlap.

It’s completely normal to feel nervous! Our instructors and fellow students will support you every step of the way. Many first-time performers find GLOW to be an empowering and unforgettable experience.
